The Year and the Year Ahead

It's been a while since we updated the website with news but its been a busy year! Some major commissions and oil sales have made up for the recession and lost meetings where we exhibit due to the adverse weather and nematode problems with the turf at Chepstow.

Well what's happened in that time? Adrian and his wife Roxanna have also been running a boutique hotel and restaurant which they have been enjoying very much; but are now possibly looking for another venture in this direction. My fiancee Eliza has moved to Swansea as she has taken up a palaeoclimatology PhD there so I spend much of my time there; and in addition she has also been appointed by the British Horse Racing Authority as a 'Voice of the Races'! So it's a bit of a career change from her former position as a model for Agent Provocateur. This has involved us travelling to a number of racecourses and training establishments and this shall also be reflected in my new work. I have just finished a major oil of the gallops at the Llewellyn yard in the Welsh valleys; and am currently working on some new watercolours of Newmarket in the snow - Neil King and Luca Cumani's strings.
Check Eliza's blog for a feel of what goes on behind the scenes aswell as at the races especially if you are new to the Sport:

We will be exhibiting at the Welsh National at Chepstow on 8th January 2011 and also at Cheltenham at the end of the month and also of course at the Festival in March.

So please try to join us if you want to see our work in the flesh so to speak.

Wishing you a Happy New Year for 2011 !
